Revelation 6 – Revelation 11 & Revelation 16:1 – 21

In John’s vision, He saw Him holding a scroll sealed with seven seals in His right hand.

A mighty angel shouted, “Who is worthy to open this scroll?”

No one dares to open the scroll. John cried very much because no one is righteous enough to open the scroll.

Then one of the elders said to John, “Don’t cry. The Lion of the tribe of Judah, from the line of David, the Lord Jesus Christ will open the seven seals of the scroll.”

John looked and he saw four creatures. Among the four creatures is a slain Lamb with seven horns and seven eyes.

The seven eyes are the seven spirits that God had sent out into the world. The Lamb went to Him who is sitting on the throne and took the scroll from Him.

Then John saw the Lamb open the first seal of the scroll. One of the four creatures said to John in a loud voice, “Come and see.” John looked and he saw a man holding a bow was sitting on a white horse. A crown was given to him and he went out conquering the world. The man who sat on the white horse represents the Antichrist who is winning over the nations at the beginning of the seven period of his reign.

The Lamb opened the second seal of the scroll. John heard the second creature said to him, “Come and see.” John looked and he saw a fiery red horse went out to take away the peace of the earth, to make people kill each other. The man who sat on the fiery red horse was given a big sword. The red horse represent blood and the big sword represent big war which will be followed by the deaths of many people. The second seal is telling us that the autocratic government of the Antichrist will not be so smooth and without stumbling blocks. Many people will refused to do what the Antichrist commanded and it will lead to civil war.

The Lamb opened the third seal. John heard the third creature said to him, “Come and see.” John looked and saw a man holding a pair of scales sitting on a black horse. Then the four creatures said,” A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine.” (King James Version. Revelation 6:5). The third seal represent great famine. The third seal is telling us that many people will reject the Lord Jesus Christ as Savior when the Antichrist persecute the Christians by forcing them to submit to him or he will kill them. But those who hold firm to their faith and not submit to the Antichrist will be saved.

The Lamb opened the fourth seal. The fourth creature said to John, “Come and see.” John looked and he saw a pale horse. Then he saw the name of the rider of the pale horse is Hades. Power was granted to the rider of the pale horse to kill 1/4 of the earth. The fourth seal brings more plagues and warfare.

When the Lamb opened the fifth seal, John saw many saints who were martyred for the sake of the gospel. Then the martyrs cried out to Him, “When will you take vengeance against those who kill us?” A white garment was given to the martyrs. He told them that the number of the martyrs must be completed vengeance will be taken against their enemies. The fifth seal is telling us about the cries of the martyrs at the end times and God will destroy their enemies at the appointed time.

When the Lamb opened the sixth seal, John looked and saw a violent earthquake. The sun is no longer shining and has become black. The moon is red color like blood. There are no more stars in the sky. The sixth seal is telling us that during the end times, there will be massive earthquake that will cause severe destruction. There will also be other catastrophic natural disasters. The sun will be black and not giving out light anymore. The moon will become red color and no more stars will be seen on the sky.

John saw the angels standing at the earth’s four corners, holding the four winds of the earth. Then the angel who has the seventh seal came. He shouted to the four angels who was given authority to harm the earth saying, “Don’t harm anything on the earth until I have given you command.”

When the Lamb opened the seventh seal, everyone kept quiet. Seven angels stood before God and each angel was given a trumpet. A different angel holding a golden censer came and stood at the altar. He has a lot of incense and he offered the incense along with the prayers upon the golden altar before the throne. The angel filled the censer with fire from the altar and threw it toward the earth so that it causes thunders, lightning, and earthquake.

The first angel blew the first trumpet and hailstorm rained down from heaven and many vegetation crops will be destroyed. One third of the trees of the earth and grass will be consumed by hailstorm.

The second angel blew the second trumpet and the seas are struck with natural catastrophe and 1/3 of the people and animals in the sea will die.

The third angel blew the third trumpet and this time it causes the water to be poisoned and many people who drink the water will die.

The fourth angel blew the fourth trumpet and one third of the sun, moon and the stars will no longer give out light. One third of the day will have no sunshine like the night.

Then an angel flew through the heaven saying,”Curse be to the people living on the earth because of the last three trumpets the three angels will blow!”

The first four trumpets of the four angels serves as a warning to the people to repent from their sins that God is having mercy on them by bringing calamities to only one third of the population.

The fifth angel blew the fifth trumpet. False prophets will rise up and deceive believers who have little faith. The fifth trumpet is God’s punishment on the unbelievers who are not under the cover protection of God. The devil will torture them but not kill them. The torment will be so severe that they will seek death but not find it.

The sixth angel blew the sixth trumpet. God released his wrath and he kills one third of the non believers’ population. After this calamity, other non believers still does not realized God’s punishment and did not repent of their idolatry sins and other sins.

John saw a strong angel holding a small book in his hand. When the strong angel opens the book, he shouted out like a lion. Then the seven thunders uttered. John was about to write down what the seven thunders said, but the strong angel told John not to record down it.

Then John heard a voice from heaven saying, “Go and take the small book from the angel.” So John went up to the angel. The angel said to John, “Take this small book and swallow it. It will not taste bitter but very sweet like honey.”

John took the small book from the angel and swallowed it. It tasted very sweet like honey in John’s mouth but bitter in John’s stomach. The angel told John that he must prophesy again to the people.

A reed for measuring is given to John. The angel said, “Take this measuring rod and measure all the area in the temple except the court because it is left out for the Gentiles. The Gentiles will trample on the temple for 3 years and 6 months before I will send two witnesses to prophesy to the people on earth.”

The two witnesses will have power to do miracles as often as they want. After they had finished testifying for God, Satan will overcome them and kill them. But God will raise the two witnesses after 3 and a half days then they will be risen up into heaven in their body.

When the seventh angel blew the seventh trumpet, it was time for Jesus Second Coming.

All the kingdoms on earth will belong to our Lord Jesus Christ and He will reign forever!

Then John saw the seven angels holding seven bowls of God’s wrath. The seven bowls of God’s wrath are the seven last plagues on earth.

A loud voice from God’s temple said, “Pour out the bowls of wrath on to the earth.”

The first angel poured out the first bowl of wrath and sores break out on the people who put their trust in the Beast and worship his image.

The second angel poured out the second bowl of wrath and the water in the sea turns into blood. Every creatures that lives in the sea died.

The third angel poured out the third bowl of wrath and the waters in the rivers and springs turn into blood.

The fourth angel poured out the fourth bowl of wrath and the climate of the world change and becomes very hot.

The fifth angel poured out the fifth bowl of wrath and there is no more sun but darkness and pain on earth.

The sixth angel poured out the sixth bowl of wrath and the Euphrates River dried up.

Then John saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the dragon and perform miracle signs to the kings of the world to assemble an army against God Almighty on the day of Armageddon.

The seventh angel poured out the seventh bowl of wrath and a violent earthquake shook the earth.

The great city on earth was divided into three parts and its nations fell apart. God also rain hail storms on mankind.

When Mary was about to give birth to Jesus, the three wise men saw the star in the East and venture to go and see the baby Jesus.

When King Herod heard that Jesus was born, he gathered the chief priests and asked, “Where is He who is born the King of Jews?”

They told King Herod that Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judah.

Then King Herod called in the three wise men to find out the exact time the star appeared.

King Herod said, “Find the young child and then come back and let me know so that I can go and worship Him also.” The three wise men promised to do King Herod the favor.

After that, they set out to search for the place where baby Jesus was born and they saw the star in the East.

The star went on before them and came to stop where the baby Jesus was.

The three wise men followed the star in the East and they finally came to the horse stable where Jesus was born.

When they saw the baby, Jesus, with his mother Mary, they were very happy and praised God. The baby was laid in a manger and wrapped with swaddling clothes.

They brought out gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh and presented it to Him.

After that, the three wise men bowed down and worshipped Him.

Acts 16:11 – 40

While Paul and Silas were at Macedonia, they met with a woman called Lydia. Lydia was a faithful believer who lived in Thyatira.

While Paul was preaching there, Lydia heard the gospel and she opened her heart to receive it. Then Lydia and all her household were baptized. And Paul stayed at her house for a few days.

One day, a slave woman who has the spirit of fortune telling followed Paul and Silas, and said, “These men are servants of God who have come to preached the gospel of Jesus Christ that we may receive eternal life.”

Paul was disturbed by what the fortune telling slave woman said, and he rebuked her, saying, “I command you evil spirit of fortune telling come out of her.” The evil spirit of fortune telling came out of the woman.

But when her masters found out what Paul had done, they were very angry because they couldn’t use the slave woman to earn money anymore.

They caught Paul and Silas and tugged them away to the magistrates.

They said to the magistrates, “These Jewish men had taught unlawful customs to us.”

So the people came against Paul and Silas. The magistrates tore his clothes off and gave command that Paul and Silas be beaten.

After that, the magistrates throw the apostle, Paul and Silas into the jail and chained their feet.

The apostle, Paul and Silas don’t care that they are chained and put in jail.

They kept singing hymns to praise God and praying at the jail and the prisoners heard them.

All of a sudden, the ground shook violently and the chains that bound Paul and Silas and every prisoner were opened.

When the prison guard awoke from his sleep, he saw that every door of the jail was opened.

He thought that all the prisoners had ran away and was about to take out his sword to commit suicide when Paul shouted, “Don’t hurt yourself. Everyone is here.”

The prison guard knelt down before Paul and Silas. He took everyone out of the prison.

That very day, the prison guard and his entire household accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as their Savior and they were baptized.

The prison guard served them foods. Everyone was very happy.

The next morning, the magistrate sent his men to give the command to free Paul and Silas.

But Paul refused to leave unless the magistrates come to tell them to go.

The magistrate was very frightened when he found out that Paul is a Roman citizen so he came and begged Paul to go and Paul left the city.

Seven Churches in Revelation

October 11, 2013 by Admin-FSN Leave a Comment

Revelation 1 – Revelation 3

While John was in Patmos Island, God gave him a vision.

John heard a voice as loud as a trumpet, saying, “I am the Alpha and Omega, the First and the Last.

Record down what I will show you and then send it to the seven churches in Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamos, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia and Laodicea.”

Having heard the voice, John turned to see who was speaking to him. John saw the seven golden lamps stand.

The golden lamp stand that is in the middle looks like the Lord Jesus Christ, clad in a long garment that reached to the feet; with a golden band on the chest; white hair; fiery eyes; feet as if made of brass; and His voice sounded like the waters.

He was holding the seven stars with a double edge sword coming out from his mouth and his face shines like the sun.

When John saw him, he fell down half dead. Then He put his hand on John and said, “Don’t be frightened. I am the Lord Jesus Christ who once lived on the earth and was dead and resurrected. I have the keys of the Hades. Record down the things I will show you. The seven stars that I am holding in my right hand represent the seven angels of the seven churches and the seven lamp stands are the seven churches.

To the angel of the church of Ephesus, the loveless church: I know you had persevered and toiled for My Name’s sake but you no longer follow and abide in the Me, the Lord Jesus Christ.

However, you have something that I like, that you hate the Nicolaitans which I also hate.

To the angel of the church of Smyrna, the persecuted church: I know you have been persecuted for me. You are poor yet rich in heaven. I know the lie of those people who say they are Jews but are not. Don’t be afraid of these tribulation that you are about to face. Some of you will be thrown into the prison for My sake, but be faithful until death, and the crown of life will be awarded to you.

To the angel of the church of Pergamos, the compromising church: I know you hold steadfastly to your faith in Me even in the days of Antipas who had martyrs some among you. Nevertheless, there are some members in your church that hold on the beliefs of Balaam, who asked Balak to curse the people of Israel, to eat food sacrificed to the idols and commit sexual immorality. You also have some church members that hold on to the teachings of the Nicolaitans which I loathe. Repent or I will come very soon to fight against them with the sword in My mouth.

To the angel of the church of Thyatira, the corrupt church: I know how you have serve me with love and patience. Nevertheless, you have tolerated false prophets and allow them to corrupt the church. To those who are still holding steadfastly to the doctrine, keep persevering until the end and I will reward him.

To the angel of the church of Sardis, the dead church: I know your works, that your church looks very spiritual on the outward but it is not so inside. You can sing hymns and have very impressive church buildings, but your mind and heart has wonder far from God. Strengthen what is left in your church because your works is not completed before God. Repent and hold fast to the faith you have when you first started out to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ.

To the angel of the church of Philadelphia, the faithful church: I know you have obeyed my Word and not denied Me before anyone. I will remember you and honor you before God because you obey My command. I am coming very soon. Keep persevering in your faith in Me and I will award you the crown of life.

To the angel of the church of Laodiceans, the lukewarm church: I know you are neither hot nor cold. You slumber in your materialistic spiritual stupor. You must come to realized that I am the Provider of all your needs. Repent therefore, and be enthusiastic and fervent in serving God. I am knocking at your door. If you hear me and open your door then I will come in and be with you. If you overcome your lukewarm, I will let you sit with Me on My throne.

Aaron’s Golden Calf Story

October 11, 2013 by Admin-FSN Leave a Comment

aaronsgoldencalfstory

Exodus 32

Moses had gone up to the mountain with Joshua for quite some time. When the Israelites saw that Moses is not coming back, they began to feel impatient.

The Israelites gathered around Aaron and said, “It had been so long since we saw Moses. We don’t know what happened to Moses. Please make us a God that will walk before us.”

They put heavy pressure on Aaron and Aaron couldn’t take it anymore. So Aaron said, “Give me all your gold earrings.” So the Israelites took off the gold earrings from their sons and daughters and gave them to Aaron.

Aaron used the gold from the gold earrings to fashion an idol in the shape of a calf. Then they said, “This is your God who brought you out of Egypt.”

Aaron built an altar and announced feast to celebrate the calf idol the next day. The people rose early the next morning and presented offerings to the calf idol.

After that, they ate and drank. The Israelites made noisy partying and were merry.

Then the Lord said to Moses, “Go down and see what the people are doing now. They had made an idol of a calf and made it their God. They even sacrifice offerings to it.”

When Moses was coming down from the mountain, he saw the calf idol that Aaron made and the people were dancing and making merry.

Moses’ anger burned against the Israelites. Moses took the calf idol and grinds it into powder and poured them into the water. Then he made the Israelites drink it.

Moses saw the people are still running around like a wild man.

Moses stood at the camp entrance and said, “Whoever that is for God, come and stand here.” The Levites gathered beside Moses.

Then Moses said to them, “Each man take a sword with you and go into the camp and kill your brother, neighbor and friend.”

The Levites did as Moses commanded them and 3000 men and women died that day.

The Lord was very angry with the people and he struck them with a plague.

Parable of the Rich Young Man

October 11, 2013 by Admin-FSN Leave a Comment

parableoftherichyoungman

Matthew 19:16-26

Jesus was walking along the road when a rich young man came running to Him.

The rich young man said, “Good teacher, what should I do in order to inherit the kingdom of God?”

Jesus answered, “Why did you say I am good. Only God is good. You know God’s commandments, ‘Be faithful to your wife’,’ Do not kill’, Do not misuse God’s name to bear false witness’, ‘Don’t steal’, and ‘Honor your father and mother’.”

The rich young man said, “Teacher, I had obeyed these commandments since I was a small boy.”

Jesus looked at the rich young man and He loved him.

Jesus said, “Sell all your possessions away and take the money and give them all to the poor as charity. Then, take up your cross and come and follow Me.”

When the rich young man heard Jesus said that he has to give away all his money to the poor to follow Jesus, his countenance immediately becomes sad and he went away.

Then Jesus spoke to His disciples, “How hard is it for the rich to get into heaven? Indeed, it is easier for a camel to go through a needle than the people who put their trust in the riches of the world rather than God’s kingdom.”

And the disciples said, “Who then is qualified to inherit eternal life?”
Jesus answered, “With God, everything is possible.”

The Peter said, “See, we have left everything to follow you.”

Jesus said, “Anyone who had left his wife, brothers, or sisters, mother or father to follow Me and anyone who were persecuted and offended because of me will receive their reward in one hundred fold. The first will be the last and the last will be the first”.

Jesus is telling us that if we put our spiritual live first, he will bless us. We should surrender all our wealth to Jesus and put Jesus first instead of money.

There is nothing wrong with being rich but money holds us back from giving ourselves more to Jesus.

There are Godly men in the Bible like Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and David that are very wealthy. We cannot focus ourselves to serve God when we put money first in our lives.
