Cain worked as a farmer and grows fruits and vegetables for a living. Abel is a shepherd and keeps sheep.

One day, both Cain and Abel brought an offering to the Lord. Cain brought an offering of the fruits from the ground but Abel brought an offering of meat from the firstborn of his sheep flock.

The Lord was happy with Abel offering but he was not happy with Cain’s offering. Cain became jealous of his brother Abel and make plans to kill him.

One day, when Cain and Abel were in the field together, Cain rose up against Abel and killed him.

Then God asked Cain, “Where is your brother Abel?”

Cain replied,” Why do you ask me? I am not the keeper of my brother Abel,”

And God said,” What have you done? You murdered your brother Abel and now his blood is crying out to me from the ground,”

God punished Cain so that no matter how he toil and till the ground, no fruits or vegetables will bear for him.

Cain was angry and said, “ You have made me a fugitive and vagabond, now everyone who finds me will try to kill me,”

Therefore, God put a mark on Cain so that anyone who tries to kill Cain for avenge on Abel will be punished seven times more than Cain.

Adam and Eve Bible Story

God created Adam and Eve and put them in a garden called Eden in the east.

Now God told Adam and Eve that they can eat the fruits from any tree in the garden except from the tree of life and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

The tree of life and the tree of knowledge is located at the center of the garden.

One day, the serpent who is crafty and cunning than any other animals said to Eve, “Did God tell you not to eat the fruit from the tree in the garden,”

Eve replied, “God said we can eat any fruit from any tree in the garden except the fruit of the tree which is located in the center of the garden lest we die.”

The serpent wants to trick Eve into disobeying God’s command and so it said, “You shall not die from eating the fruit of the tree in the middle of the garden but you will be like God, knowing good and evil,”

The fruit looks delicious to Eve. Eve believes the serpent and desire for the fruit. Eve plucked a fruit from the tree of knowledge of good and evil and eats a mouthful of it. Then he gave Adam and he ate it too.

Straight after they ate the fruit, their eyes opened and realized that they were naked. They feel shy and quickly sew fig leaves to cover up their naked body.

Later on, they heard the sound of the God walking in the garden and Adam and Eve hid themselves. Then God called out to Adam and Eve.

Adam said, “I heard your voice and I hid myself,”

And God said, “Who told you that you were naked?”

Adam said, “Eve gave me some fruit from the tree of knowledge of good and evil and I ate some,”

God was very angry with Adam and Eve because they did not listen to his command.

God cursed the serpent that people will always strike its head with a club and that it will crawl on its belly forever.

God also punished Adam that he will only reap from the ground of what he toiled.

God put a curse on the women that from now on women will have labor pain when giving birth.

Because of what Adam and Eve had done, God also make sure that humans will never live forever like God and that they will die one day and return to the dust in the ground.

After that, God drove Adam and Eve out of the Garden of Eden.

God planted a beautiful garden in the east of Eden where he put Adam.

The Garden of Eden has many kinds of fruit trees that bear delicious fruits that are good for food.

In the middle of the garden, there is the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

God made four rivers that went out from Eden to the garden.

The first river is called the Pishon River that waters the land of Havilah, where you can find gold.

The second river is called the Gihon River that flows in the land of Cush.

The third river is called the Hiddekel River which flows toward Assyria.

The fourth river is called the Euphrates River.

God saw that Adam is lonely and have no one to help him with the work so he decides to make the animals and birds to keep him company.

After he created every beasts and birds, he brought them to Adam to let Adam named them. And so Adam named all the animals one by one. That is how the animals got its name.

Adam feels that there is still no suitable helper for him and so God made Adam fell asleep.

While Adam was asleep, God took one of his ribs and then he closed up his flesh. From the rib, God formed it into a woman and brought it for Adam to see.

Adam was so comforted and happy that he found his suitable mate. Adam named the woman Eve because Eve came from his bones and flesh.

Therefore, when a man grows up to be an adult, he will leave his parents to be with his wife so that they will be one flesh. Adam and Eve are both naked, and they don’t feel ashamed at all.

Jesus Feeds 5000 Story

September 21, 2012 by Admin-FSN Leave a Comment

After the disciples gathered to Jesus, they told him about what they had done and what they taught the people.

Then Jesus said to his disciples, “Let us retreat to a solitary place where we can have some rest for a while.” So they departed to the place with a boat by themselves.
But the people saw him, and when they found out that he was retreating to a solitary place with His disciples, they ran to the place and arrived there before Him.

When Jesus arrives, He saw the multitudes and had compassion on them. So Jesus began to teach the people many things until evening.
It was getting dark, and the people were with Jesus the whole day and haven’t eaten anything.

Jesus’ disciples said to Him, “Send the people away now so that they can go and buy some food for themselves.”

But Jesus answered, “It is too late now. You give them something to eat.”

Jesus’ disciples said, “Should we go and buy two hundred denarii of bread for the people?”

Jesus said, “Go and see how many loaves of bread you have.”

The disciples replied, “Master, we still have five loaves of bread and two small fishes left.”
Then Jesus made the people to sit down in rows of fifties and hundreds.

After Jesus took the bread and the fishes, He looked up into heaven and thank God. Then He gave them to the disciples.

His disciples then distribute the five loaves of bread and two small fishes among the people. So everyone ate and felt satisfied and there were leftovers.

Jesus said to His disciples, “Collect the leftovers and put them in baskets for nothing should be wasted.”

The disciples collected all the leftovers and it filled up twelve baskets.

The people who had eaten the loaves are 5000 not including the women and children.
